The Facial of 2024: Hydrafacials

Hydrafacials provide the perfect treatment for everyone! Every skin type can benefit from a Hydrafacial treatment. Oily, dry, combination, or normal skin will see the results of a Hydrafacial. The skin will be cleansed, glowing, and hydrated when the facial is over! Here at Citrine, Hydrafacials are customized based on the patient’s skin type and current needs.

What makes a Hydrafacial different from other facials?

Hydrafacial uses a patented vortex technology to deeply cleanse the skin. An exfoliating tip is used throughout the treatment, along with suction to remove dead skin cells from the skin. This treatment provides both physical and chemical exfoliation. Exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells, oil, debris, dirt, blackheads, and sebaceous filaments from within the skin. Hydration is provided with the last step and infused into the skin. Skin will be less dull and glowing following the treatment!

Is there any downtime following a Hydrafacial?

Hydrafacials can be done in as little as 30 minutes and results are seen immediately! Typically, there is ZERO downtime following a Hydrafacial. If a patient is very oily and acne prone, they may experience a worsening in breakouts temporarily. This is because the Hydrafacial treatment uses acids that help draw out bacteria, build up, and blockage from the skin. With subsequent Hydrafacials and at home skincare, this will lessen overtime for oily patients. Most of our patients leave a Hydrafacial appointment with glowing, clean, healthy, and hydrated skin!

How does a Hydrafacial work?

Hydrafacial uses a patented vortex-fusion tip and 3-step process to cleanse the skin. Skin will first be cleansed and gently physically exfoliated using a suction tip. A peel will be placed on the peel to help prep the skin for the extractions. Painless extractions are performed using a special tip on the hand piece. Lastly, the skin is hydrated using an antioxidant rich and hydrating serum that is infused into the skin.
