Halo laser treatments have 2 different laser wavelengths that are treating the skin at the same time and they are customized to each patient’s skin concerns and skin types. This enables the Halo laser treatment at Citrine to be extremely effective and safe for each patient.
We also have the ability to combine our halo treatment with our BBL treatment to even take the results to the next level. This, in combination with my extensive experience in aesthetic medicine creates the Halo Effect; glowing, resurfaced skin with the absence of brown spots, a smooth texture and improvement in pores!
Our Halo resurfacing laser is an industry gold standard in laser treatments and our goal is to always bring the very best options to our aesthetic patients.
Patients will experience 3-5 days of downtime after Halo. Swelling and redness will be the most common reactions. Immediately after halo, the patient will experience a sunburn sensation for approximately 3 hours. Day 1 and Day 2 will be more of the swelling and redness. Where Day 3 and 4, the “bronzing” will begin. After Day 5 to Day 7 you will begin to see the Halo Glow.
Most patients will need a Halo treatment once a year. Patients with acne scarring or melsama may need 2 Halo’s per year.
Before doing a Halo, it is important to prep your skin with medical grade skincare. We also recommend patients doing a Hydrafacial 3-5 days prior to help enhance the results.
After your Halo appointment, you will be given 24-hour secure access to our patient portal where you can message Kerri with any questions that may arise. We are here to help you every step of the way.
After 3-4 weeks, we will have the patient come in for a quick follow up to take photos as well as do the Visia Skin Analysis.
